tony goes about his life knowing he fucked a 15 year old peter parker in the back of his car during one of the lowest periods of tony’s life. after Siberia, and the accords, tony finds his morals again and decides he’ll handle peter from very, very far away.

Peter doesn’t need to know that he was perhaps the only reason tony agreed to save half of the universe. it wasn’t affection, really. just guilt — that’s what Tony tells himself.

but Peter is stubborn and grown enough that he’s willing to throw their illicit affair in Tony’s face, and Tony is one wrong step away from snapping.

Peter is working at Delmar’s, sorting out tabloids on the rack in the front, and he sees Tony’s face plastered everywhere and then Peter is reading words and then he can’t read anything because he’s crying and his shaking hands rip the magazine in half.

Tony Stark…alive.

He saved the world, saved Peter, and Peter never even got to thank him. Not that it matters now. If Peter was a factor in Tony’s decision to snap his fingers, Peter will never know. No one will ever know, because Peter fucked up and now he doesn’t exist.
